The girly backpack, offered in three sweet sizes from large to mini, is feminine and fun, the perfect bag to keep you in bloom through all seasons. The pansies are knit separately on double pointed needles and then attached after felting.

All Noni patterns call for Cascade 220, a skein of 100% wool, 220 yards. We like Galway (210 yards each) for these projects, especially because they are center-pull balls! Your stitches will disappear beautifully once felted.

You will need:


Medium Girly Backpack 9" x 4" x 12"
6 skeins Cascade 220 (or 7 balls Galway) in blueberry
1 ball each: gold, red, shrimp (for pansies)

5 skeins Cascade 220 (or 6 balls Galway) in plum
1 ball each: gold, blueberry, tangerine (for pansies)

3 skeins Cascade 220 (or 4 balls Galway) in dark dark plum
1 ball each: gold, plum, lavender (for pansies)
