Designer, Nora J. Bellows: "The Tulip Tote is modeled after my most favorite of toting-things-around-anywhere bags. It is roomy enough to pack with a lot of groceries, a picnic, or to fill with delicacies from your favorite dress shop... Or use it even as a day trip/travel bag. Oh, and don't be surprised when people stare -- believe me, they will!
The handles are knitted as part of the bag and are long enough to go over your shoulder, but not so long that you can't carry the bag by your side."
Size: 19" base x 6.5" deep x 12" high
All Noni patterns call for Cascade 220, a skein of 100% wool, 220 yards. We like Galway (210 yards each) for these projects, especially because they are center-pull balls! Your stitches will disappear beautifully once felted.
You will need:
6 skeins Cascade 220 main color (or 7 balls Galway)
2 skeins Cascade 220 contrast color (or 3 balls Galway)
needles: US 11 circular 24" or 32" long

For the flowers
1 skein each in three colors, Cascade 220 or Galway
US 5 double pointed needles
