This attention grabbing hat is a great way to use up scrap yarn. Choose a yarn color for the hat and use any dk or sportweight scrap yarn to knit the triangles. You can knit this hat in sizes from infant to XL adult!
You will need:
dk or sportweight yarn in qty shown below
We recommend one skein of Peace Fleece DK which comes in 350 yd skeins! You can make two baby hats with one skein.
also need: scrap yarn for each triangle
needles: US 4 dpns and one large straight for binding off
and US 3 dpns and straight
skills needed: k2tog, ssk, knitting in the round, invisible cast on, binding off together
