The core is stainless steel and wool is wrapped around the core. Because of the stainless steel, there is a memory in the yarn. Twist it around! It will stay in that shape unless you straighten it out.

Knit with one strand for a lace look, use 2 strands held together for more support. You can also knit along with a fine weight wool yarn for a different finished fabric.
